I CAN READ!

Jahiar spent all weekend writing and reading. This kid can now read most site words. We even started having spellign tests!!! He still isnt at the point where he can listen in on conversations and comprehend the things we spell out, but he is able to read along with me with some of his favorite books. And no he isnt just repeating from memory, I knew about kids who do this, and I brought him so many books, we may have only read them 2 or three times. Not enough times for him to memorize the books.

Jahair is so happy, yet is his a little distraught that he still hasnt gotten past the first two steps of tying his shoes!!! But he's getting there!
